I make your business the clearest, most trusted answer for searches near you, in the map pack and in the local results below it. Your Business Profile, location pages, reviews and listings all describe the same business, so Google has no reason to doubt it.

Signs you need local SEO

  • You show up near your office, but not a few miles away.
  • Your Business Profile was suspended and Google didn't say why.
  • Competitors with unstaffed addresses outrank you.
  • Your city pages differ only by the town name.
  • Calls dropped after you changed your name or address.
  • Old phone numbers and addresses still show on directories.
  • You visit customers at home and don't know whether to show your address.
  • Your branches look different on Google, and some are missing.

What local SEO covers

Google ranks local results on relevance, distance and prominence. You can't change your distance from the searcher, so the work goes into the other two.

  • Business Profile

    What I do
Pick the primary category for what you are, not the busiest search term. Match services and attributes to your real offer
    Why it matters
The profile and the website must describe the same business
  • Location and service-area pages

    What I do
One page per real place with real local detail: address or coverage, staff, prices, photos, jobs
    Why it matters
Pages that only swap the town name can be treated as doorway pages
  • Reviews

    What I do
A request process that asks every customer at the right time, with message templates
    Why it matters
Asking only happy customers breaks Google's rules. Fake or paid reviews carry legal risk under the FTC rule in the US
  • Citations and NAP

    What I do
Fix your name, address and phone on the main directories before adding new listings
    Why it matters
Old details on directories confuse both Google and customers
  • Entity home and schema

    What I do
One page that is the official source about each location, with LocalBusiness markup of the most specific type
    Why it matters
Connects the website, the profile and the listings into one entity
  • Suspension protection

    What I do
A checklist before every change, and an appeal pack if a profile is suspended
    Why it matters
Name keywords, virtual offices and duplicate profiles are the usual causes

Local links and mentions, from chambers of commerce, local news and partners, are handled through Link Building and Digital PR.

Local SEO for multiple locations

  • The brand is the parent

Each branch has its own profile, page, phone number, hours and reviews.

  • One standard, local detail

Naming, categories and page templates are the same everywhere, but every page carries facts about its own branch.

  • One business group

All profiles sit in one group with clear ownership.

  • Slow launches

New locations go live gradually, so the pattern never looks like spam.

  • One owner per location

The same person updates that branch's profile, page and listings together.

How it works, step by step

  1. Local entity audit

    Days 1 to 5

You share access to your Business Profile and Search Console.

  2. Categories, services and attributes

    Week 2

You confirm what each location really offers.

  3. Location structure

    Weeks 2 to 3

Which pages exist, and how they link.

  4. Pages and markup

    Weeks 3 to 8

You send photos, staff names and job details.

  5. Citations and reviews

    Weeks 4 to 10
  6. Tracking and improvement

    Monthly, ongoing

How results are measured

  • Map pack position

From a grid of points across your service area, by search, compared month to month.

  • Actions

Calls, direction requests, bookings and website clicks from your profile.

  • Website visits

From the profile, tagged in GA4, plus Search Console impressions and clicks.

  • Reviews per location

Count, recency, rating and reply rate.

Rankings are an early sign. Calls, bookings and visits are the result that matters.

Is local SEO right for you?

A good fit if you

  • have a staffed address or a defined service area
  • serve nearby customers
  • run several locations
  • will ask every customer for a review
  • have a suspended, duplicate or hijacked profile

Not a good fit if you

  • want profiles in cities where you have no staffed premises
  • want fake reviews or keywords in your business name
  • sell only online
  • expect a guaranteed map pack position

Local SEO questions

How fast do map rankings change?

Some profile changes show results in days or weeks. Gains in prominence take months. Compare the same months year to year, because local searches are seasonal.

Can I rank without showing my address?

Yes. A service-area business can hide its address and set a service area. Visibility is usually strongest near your base.

Should every city I serve get its own profile?

No. A profile needs a real, staffed location. Other cities are covered by your service area settings and by website pages with real local detail.

Do Business Profile posts help rankings?

There's little evidence that they move rankings. They are still useful for offers, events and getting calls.

How should I answer a bad review?

Quickly, calmly and with facts. Offer to sort it out offline, and never share private details.

Can you remove fake reviews from competitors?

I report reviews that break Google's rules through Google's own tools. Removal is Google's decision, so nobody can promise it.

What should I do after moving?

Update the profile address first and be ready to verify again. Then update the website, schema and directories, and keep the same phone number if you can.

Do I need a separate website for each location?

Almost never. One site with location pages keeps all the strength in one place.

Can you guarantee a top 3 map pack position?

No. Nobody can, because Google decides. I can show you the work, the grid and the calls month by month.

Movers, storage facilities, law firms and jewelry stores each have their own local rules. See the industries I work in, including Moving Company SEO, Self Storage SEO, Law Firm SEO and Jewelry SEO.
